I wanted something economical that had the look and feel of a real piano. While the instrument was fine for teaching beginning to intermediate students, I found it was not the best choice for more advanced playing. I don't know what "4-level touch sensitivity" means, but it does not work well for playing advanced classical pieces. Some of the keys have to be pressed very hard to get a sound, and then the sound is very loud. I did not experience this problem when I tried it at Guitar Center, where I purchased it around 2006, so maybe I just had bad luck with mine. Finally, after owning the instrument only 3-4 years, some of the keys are permanently stuck in the depressed position, so now it cannot be played at all! Overall, this is an okay instrument for beginners, but i think there are better options for the price....
This review is from: Williams Symphony Console Digital PianoI have owned this piano for about a year now. While I don't play it nearly as often as I wish, my friends and I still get use out of it. One thing I did not realize upon purchasing this instrument was how heavy it actually was. It came in pieces and a box the size of a refridgerator, and was tough to move up stairs. You'll definitely need at least two strong people to move this. The piano itself is beautiful, and I have yet to have any issues with it. It sounds lovely without external speakers, but I have read reviews stating people prefer them to get a better quality sound. The headphone jacks have actually been handy when I feel like playing late at night but don't want to bother my parents. I've written some music on this piano and have improved my playing significantly after switching to this from a Casio toy-of-a-keyboard. Try it out (possibly at a Guitar Center) and see if you like it!...
