This review is from: Seiko SQ50-V Quartz Metronome MetronomeThis device is simple, high quality, and works perfectly. There is a volume control and you get the selection of two click sounds. The dial is easy to use. The position at the bottom of the generates a tone for tuning: either 440 Hz (modern) or 415 Hz (early music), selected by the click sound switch. There is also a standard 3.5mm headphone jack....
This review is from: Seiko SQ50-V Quartz Metronome MetronomeOverall I like this quartz metronome for it's simple and does its job well. It gives two choice of tempo sounds that are pretty pleasant wooden click, unlike the beeping sounds from some electric metronomes. The dial is clear and easy to use. The only problem I had with it is with the earphone jack. When I plug in the earphone I can only hear the sound in one ear (I tried several of my headphones) and the beeping is somehow different from when it's played out. I'm not sure if it's a common problem or not but it doesn't bother me that much because I don't really plan to use headphones with it.Since I just got the item there's no way to tell the battery life. Hopefully the 9v battery that came with it would last a while....
