Now the power light comes on but the LED screen will not light up and there is no sound. I have emailed the company who makes the keyboard twice but have not had any reply yet. I would recommend a different brand if you are interested in purchasing a keyboard. I only gave 2 stars since when it was working my son really enjoyed it....
This review is from: Spectrum AIL499 61 Note Keyboard PackWe bought this for our kids (ages 4 and 6) last Christmas. They really enjoyed playing it and have taken to playing keyboard and piano. In September, it all of a sudden wouldn't power up. The Lifetime Warranty is worthless. I have called and e-mailed the company and never received a response. If you want something cheap that will last a few months to see if your kids are interested playing, then you might consider. Otherwise I would suggest you spend the extra money and get something with better sound and quality....
This review is from: Spectrum AIL499 61 Note Keyboard PackWell here is the story. I bought this keyboard which was on "sale" for about $129 in NYC, some 3 yrs ago. Few days later the display light stopped working. Then I exchanged the instrument for another similar one at the store. Then the new one had the same problem. I emailed the customer service, then many days later I got a reply asking me to ship it to them for an exchange. What? am I supposed to pay for the shipping...no way. So then I replied about the shipping policy. Then I never got a reply. The keyboard still works but now the sound is not good. The display light is still not working. For the same price, you get much better brands. Just don't buy any of the models of this brand. I guarantee you will have the same or worst problems....
