The Rhodes, Wurli, and clavinet sounds are great, the B3 simulator is close to perfect, and the acoustic pianos (especially on the latest model) are deep, crisp, and very different from one another. The effects section is basic but good for most of what you'd want to do with a keyboard instrument. I'm still getting used to the synth section -- it seems promising, but is structured differently to the other analog modeling architectures I've used, and seems less conducive to tweaking. The action is good, and is obviously a compromise between the ideal actions for the various instruments the Stage is simulating.Nevertheless -- with some flexible split and layering options, and great retro keyboard sounds, you could use the Stage EX 88 to replace a Hammond and a Rhodes, and save your roadies a lot of back-ache!...
