Boss DB90 Dr. Beat Metronome

This review is from: Boss DB90 Dr. Beat MetronomeWhen my decades old Seth Thomas metronome sprung its spring, it was time to move in to the new century. Based on multiple reviews of this instrument and others, I opted for this (and I got the power supply, too, to save batteries). Even though I have not yet used all of the powerful features of this metronome, I love everything about it thus far. It is easy to use. It adjusts in multiple ways, making it fully adaptable to the way and volume level that works best for me to hear and keep the beat. After only a couple of times, I found that I can easily make any adjustments with one hand - not needing to wrangle with the metronome in order to get the setting I need. And I love the "tap" feature that lets me choose the tempo without dialing to the exact beats per second setting. I would highly recommend this fine instrument to any one who is serious about practice....

This review is from: Boss DB90 Dr. Beat MetronomeThis is the third version of this product that I have purchased over the last 15 years. It is an excellent teaching tool for me as well as my flute students. The talking beats, rhythmic subdivisions, meter choices, and dialing tempi make it simple to use.I highly recommend this metronome to all teachers and musicians who can afford it....

This review is from: Boss DB90 Dr. Beat MetronomeGreat metronome. It's a little bulky to carry around, but it's worth it because it does everything to help make your practicing more efficient. The Metronome has 4 different 'voices' (one is a human voice), pitch generator that plays any pitch in multiple octaves, and easy access to subdivision. The subdivision buttons can do strong beats, off beats, sixteens, triplets, or any combination. In addition, it has the capability to be programed for your unique beat pattern, and much, much more!...
